There is so much to see and do in Wollongong and can check it all out using the link, http://www.visitwollongong.com.au

The kids had so much energy being our first stop and seeing we had great sunny weather over the weekend, it was go, go, go.

We went for a family ride around the amazing beachfront coastline before heading to lighthouse at Wollongong Heads.

Right next to the lighthouse was Flagstaff Hill Fort. A former military fort at Flagstaff Point. We were lucky enough to get some great photos sitting on top of the canons. This was certainly our little boys’ favourite part of the day.

Our ride ended at a great kids play area at Stuart Park in North Wollongong. This is an amazing park for the kids with a great coffee shop next door which we made sure we visited. Whilst the kids we’re playing at the park we were lucky enough to see some skydivers from above landing on the beach right next to us as well.

In the evenings we caught up with family having bonfires which the kids enjoyed the most!

We found Wollongong to be very similar to Newcastle, beautiful beaches, great weather and top notch play parks for the kids.

Next stop Canberra for a bit of Australian education and history! Little Coop is stoked!
