WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
Wow is the word Chris and I said at least 20-30 times as we drove into the Big4 in Bellarine.
This caravan park was purpose built on 30 acres and even before you hit the entry that became very clear with the amount of space between the play areas, cabins and caravan sites.
We had the privilege of staying in a safari tent and to say this is GLAMPING is an understatement. We were greeted by an outdoor bath, Weber BBQ and swing chair on the deck, a perfect way to wind down and watch the sunset of an evening.
The safari tents have been amazingly designed and built inside. They host a large 4 post bed, bunks for the kids, a kitchenette, cute corrugated iron shower/toilet and a lounge and dining area. Even for warmer or cooler nights, the safari tents are fitted with a split cycle air conditioner for the ultimate night away.
The indoor gym that hosts many pieces of strength and cardio equipment, a large workout room, medicine balls, fit balls and a filtered water station is better than some 24hr gyms we have visited.
The list continues with an indoor heated pool with a huge slide and water play area for the kids. The temperature is beautiful for all year round swimming.
We hired karts and followed a bike path around the entire outside of the park. This allowed us to see other facilities that the park offers like another large jumping pillow, multiple swing sets, croquet and boche fields, bike tracks and jumps, flying fox, large camp kitchen, herb gardens, fruit trees and beautiful manicured gardens that had Chris drooling.
You would need a week here to experience everything properly with the kids and it’s a credit to staff and owners of how wonderful it truly is.
