After a short pit stop back home in Newcastle to shoot some episodes for a Television show we are featuring in (Location Lifestyle Living on Channel 9 NBN), We moved North up the Eastern coast of NSW to beautiful Forster.
We stayed at the Discovery Parks, Forster which was a huge, quiet and clean park with great facilities. The park had huge, powered grass sites plus a large camp kitchen. We are finding these to be a very useful facility lately, having spent so much time on the road. It has allowed us to cook a variety of meals so the kids are never bored with what we are serving up.
It has a large jumping pillow which allowed our kids to run off energy and an awesome indoor play room. The kids played air hockey before we all had a game of table tennis. Boys vs Girls !!!
We spent numerous hours sitting by this gorgeous pool area and although it was still too cold for us to jump in being able to sit in the sun with this great view was just as nice!
Right next to the pool area, there is a large outdoor play area for the kids. All of the equipment is age appropriate for children two years + and the play area has seating around it which is perfect for parents to sit, relax and supervise.
Approx 50 meters from the powered sites is the lakes frontage. There is a volleyball net and a points system hoop that is great!
Staff from this park hosted a fundraiser morning tea of scones, jam and cream to help raise money for the NSW farmers. Our family headed down to the camp kitchen and for a dollar coin donation, enjoyed warm scones and a coffee.. Yum!
Families can spend countless hours in this park playing in the facilities it provides. We found we had so much room on our site that there was so much room for the kids to enjoy playing ball games and riding their bikes on the nice flat sealed roadways. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back! Peace ✌️
